Furniture for Gombalume Primary School

Posted on Nov 9, 2015

This is Gombalume Primary School in Tsholotsho District, one of the six areas that we support. I received CAD $1000 from Swift Current resident Darlene Dyck. Then one Rotarian Kim Cooper talked to her Rotary Club of Kamloops West in B.C. and they added CAD $500. Amanda Schamber with her clientele at Yoga Connexion also gave us CAD $200. With these funds we were able to purchase classroom furniture for a class of 40 children and their teacher.

These photographs show the pathetic situation before we purchased the furniture and then the others show the impact and difference that the assistance from these kind Canadians made.

Thanks to my fellow Swift Current citizens for your generosity and for coming together to make this happen!

GOMBALUME PRIMARY SCHOOL BEFORE & AFTER

This is a photo of me and Darlene Dyck. She and her children kindly helped us with CAD $1000 towards the purchase of classroom furniture for Gombalume Primary School in Tsholotsho District. After seeing the impact her assistance made, they have decided to give us another CAD $1000 so that we can buy classroom furniture for yet another school. We wish to express our most sincere thanks to her and her family.
